Customer Service Guidelines

that we provide on this site and also on our internet radio station, NYTalkRadio.net

1) We provide several ways to ship your package: Media Rate, Priority Mail, 1st Class Mail, UPS and Federal Express and for International Orders: Global Priority or 1st Class International. Media Rate (in the USA) is the most economical rate for books, videos, DVDs & CDs, however Media Rate can ONLY be used for media (books, videos, DVDs & CDs). Sometimes our customers mark in the Media Rate option for other items, but the Post Office does not allow us to ship other items by Media Rate, so we send those items by 1st Class mail. HOWEVER, if the item is either food or supplements, we send those ONLY by UPS or Federal Express because we are sure that UPS and Federal Express do not irradiate packages and we want your food or supplement to get to you in the best condition possible..

2) The shipping charges that come up on your order are estimated charges and if the package is only a couple of dollars ($2.00) more, we go ahead and send it. If it is substantially more though, we contact you and get your approval before sending.

3) Prices for shipment outside of the USA have usually been under $15.00, (unless it's a large order) and $15.00 is the price that comes up when you press International Shipping, but sometimes shipping can be substantially higher. If it is only a couple of dollars ($2.00) more, we go ahead and ship it, but if the price is substantially higher, we contact you and get your approval before sending.

4) Our orders go out promptly each week, however, sometimes we are out of stock on items, and when this happens, it may take longer to receive your order. If you order something that is out of stock, it either has already been ordered or we order it right away and in that case, it will usually take approx. 2-3 weeks to get your order to you. We do work with a small staff so we don't always let you know about the delay, but we try. If you order several items from us, and we are out of stock on one, we send out the items we have on hand, and the missing item is sent as soon as it is received.

5) We do not take returns on books, videos, DVDs or CDs, unless they are substantially damaged when you receive them.

6) If the item you receive is broken or not functioning as it should, we will either replace it or refund your money. In this case, we would like to receive the item back, so that we can return it to the supplier. In this situation, please contact us and we will advise you on how to send it back to us.

7) If your order arrives incomplete (see #4) or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately by email at: orders@rawfoodinfo.com or call us at 212 941-5857.

8) We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, checks or money orders. With a check, we ship the order upon clearance of the check.

9) If you are ordering Rhio's book, Hooked on Raw, and want her to sign it, then please request that in the Comments section of your order. Please put the name of the person that you would like the book signed to. If Rhio is in town, she will sign the book. If she is not in town, then the book will go out either unsigned or generically signed.

11) Rhio's Raw Energy does not purchase either plastic or styrofoam for use in our shipping. If you find plastic or styrofoam packing used in your order it is because we are recycling materials sent to us in an effort to extend their usage. We recycle all materials sent to us, including cardboard boxes and newspapers.
