Bob McCauley was raised in Lansing, Michigan, attended Michigan State University (BA – Journalism) and worked for several years in New York City at the prestigious law firm of Debevoise & Plimpton. He has traveled extensively, both domestically and abroad, visiting over 32 countries, including India, Korea, France and Israel where he spent significant time. 

With the help of his father, they started Spartan Water Company in 1992, which sold vended water machines in supermarkets. Mr. McCauley founded Spartan Enterprises, Inc. in 1993 and began bottling Michigan's best artesian water under the label Michigan Mineral - Premium Natural Water, which was sold throughout the Lansing and Detroit area. He founded the Watershed, Lansing's first bottled water store, in 1995. The Watershed is the North American importer of Jupiter Water Ionizers, Jupiter International, Seoul, Korea. It is also the North American importer of Chlorella produced by the Taiwan Chlorella Manufacturing Co, Taipei, Taiwan, which is the world's largest Chlorella Pyrensoida producer. It is sold under the name of Watershed Chlorella. Watershed Spirulina is certified organic, certified kosher Hawaiian Spirulina Pacifica.

He stays young by running (18:35 - 5 Kilometer race), practicing Martial Arts and following his rules for Great Health laid out in this book. What else would you expect?
